Samsung outs Nexus 10 with 64GB of storage on website, typo or accidental leak?

When the Nexus 10 was announced, it was revealed that it would arrive in 16GB or 32GB versions. There was certainly no word on a 64GB version although thanks to a Korean press release on Samsung's website, they might have accidentally revealed that a 64GB could be available. The image above was part of the press release, although it has since been replaced with the 64GB version edited out. Now there is a possibility that the original image uploaded was done in error, or perhaps there is a chance that Samsung accidentally leaked that information before it was meant to be shared with the public.

Verizon Nokia Lumia 822 and HTC 8X to launch this November 8th?

Verizon does seem to be doing its bit to bring more Windows Phone 8 goodness to the masses, and it does seem as though the Lumia 822 and HTC 8X with the latter coming in a shade of California Blue is set for a release this coming November 8th from the wireless carrier. Both smartphones can be spotted in the leaked photo above, where they carry Verizon's logo and name. One has to bear in mind that the Nokia Lumia 822 is definitely a Verizon exclusive, so it is a given. It does seem to appear that the Nokia Lumia 822 will retail for $99.99 a pop with a 2-year contract, while the HTC 8X will cost $199.99 for a similar contract.

Apple Q4 2012 earnings: $36 billion in revenue, $8.2 billion net profit

Just a day after introducing the iPad mini, a revised iMac, a 4th-generation iPad and a retooled Mac mini, the company is outing its Q4 2012 earnings - and it looks as if it has narrowly fell short of Wall Street estimates. Revenue was pegged at $36 billion (compared to estimates of $35.08 billion), with net profit at $8.2 billion. For the sake of comparison, the outfit's fourth quarter of 2011 saw $28.27 billion in revenue alongside $6.62 billion net profit - at the time, those comically large numbers were actually not up to Wall Street's comical expectations.

iFixit's been on something of an Apple tear lately - just a day after ripping into the barely-repairable new 13-inch MacBook Pro (not to mention the new nano and touch), the site has gotten its hands on - and into - the new Mac Mini. Unlike like the shiny new notebook, however, the diminutive desktop was apparently a pleasure to open up and put back together again, scoring an eight out of 10 on the repairability front and altogether forgoing the site's use of adorable kittens. Book retailer Barnes & Noble this morning revealed that 63 of its stores have been victims of PIN pad tampering, following an internal investigation of "every PIN pad in every store" (just under 700 locations). Black and Decker 4v MAX Gyro Screwdriver review

We all love power tools, but let's be realistic:  Unless your tools are part of your job or you're a serious handyperson, most power tools are overkill.  Yes, I've been guilty of using a $400 cordless uber-drill to tighten a cabinet hinge.  But what's this odd-ball, palm-sized thing.  A Gyro.  Isn't that meat eaten inside flat bread?  I had a chance to check out the new Black and Decker 4v MAX Gyro Screwdriver.

As a (mostly) hairy-chested, grunting macho-macho man, whenever I see a “power” tool packed in plastic like this, I turn up my manly nose and move on to the “big boy” tools.
