Research In Motion co-CEO Jim Balsillie revealed on the company's second-quarter earnings call that RIM would soon be dropping prices on its BlackBerry PlayBook tablets. While the new price points have not yet been disclosed, it looks like the first move in carriers' efforts to clear their shelves actually started this past Tuesday.
