The Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for Verizon's Samsung Droid Charge has started rolling out today, only one day later than it was supposed to. I guess after waiting for this update since the phone was released in April, Droid Charge owners probably don't mind the extra one day of waiting they had to do. The update has already been applied by some lucky souls. It's an over-the-air affair, so you'll be able to perform it even without hooking your phone up to a computer, but keep in mind that, as with all OTA updates, the rollout may be staggered. That means that you may not see the update yet. In that case, don't panic.
