Samsung loves AMOLED screens. That much has been made awfully clear over the past few years, when, starting with the original Galaxy S, the Korean company has only used this display tech in its flagships. However, manufacturing issues might compel Samsung to release two versions of the upcoming Galaxy Note III – one with an AMOLED screen, and the other with an LCD panel. This is a possibility according to a report from ETNews.
In the end, only about 10% of the Galaxy Note III units may feature an LCD screen, and certain markets will get only those.
