There is a possibility that Cupertino might just include DisplayPort connectivity support to new mobile chips that will see action in iOS-powered devices – all thanks to a new job listing that is looking for a signal integrity and power integrity manager. Said post will be part of the team that builds custom chips which will see action in future mobile products, and knowing Apple, certainly the iPhone and perhaps the iPod touch will be part of this team. Needless to say, this position requires experience in working with interface standards – among them including DisplayPort.
Ubergizmo, Apple to add DisplayPort to new mobile chips for iOS devices?
