Interestingly, this is the first time Apple has not accompanied the iTunes 10.5 beta release with a corresponding iOS 5 beta release, which suggests that iOS 5 Beta 7 is presumably the last beta in the series and it would soon be followed by iOS 5 Gold Master release. Apparently, both the iOS 5 public release and iTunes 10.5 release aren't too far away from launch. Apple is expected to release iOS 5 and iTunes 10.5 to the consumer masses in early October, alongside the next-generation iPhone.
