Racing games are definitely not new, and I remember playing Death Track on the 8086 all those years ago, swapping floppies feverishly along the way. Well, you can say that Nintendo more or less popularized the idea of kart racing in a comical and cute manner with the Mario Kart series that is still going strong today across different platforms, and the Sony PS3 is not exempt from the karting mania as well with word that LittleBigPlanet Karting Beta is on its way to a release.
