
Despite all the ongoing patent infringement litigations and lawsuits that are being served to Android OEMs recently, it looks like nothing can halt the sales of devices running the operating system. comScore has reported that Android is now on 40.1% of all smartphones used by subscribers over the age of 13 in the country. While the increase in growth has been lower than what it's been experiencing in the previous few quarters, the platform still managed to extend its dominance over the country's market share. In second place is Apple and its iOS devices with 26.6%, while RIM and its BlackBerry phones make up 23.4%.
