In a move that caught the technophiles by surprise, Asus CEO Jonney Shih revealed its “next-generation Transformer tablet” during a forum at AsiaD, which will be called “Transformer Prime.”. According to Shih, the new tablet comes with a quad-core NVIDIA processor, 10-inch screen, mini-HDMI port, SD card slot, a side profile of 8.3 millimeters, a battery life of 14.5 hours, and a top lid that appears similar to its Zenbook line. It will naturally ship with Android, most likely Honeycomb but may as well have an over-the-air Ice Cream Sandwich update.
