The other day it was reported that due to the state of things, it seemed as though BlackBerry was considering taking themselves private and explore "strategic alternatives" in a bid to sort themselves out without the pressure of external investors. While it does sound like one of the ways BlackBerry could go about, we did mention that it might not be as easy as it seems, especially since there aren't many investors who are interested in the ailing company, and former Palm executive, Jean-Louise Gasse, seems to think that purchasing BlackBerry would be a bad move by an investor.
