If you figured that Samsung's Galaxy S II was pretty successful in your neck of the woods, picture 10% of your country's inhabitants sporting one. Crazy idea. Well, that's exactly what's happened in Samsung's native South Korea. The company has announced that so far it has sold more than 5 million Samsung Galaxy S II smartphones in South Korea. To put that in perspective, the country has 48.87 million inhabitants. Which means that more than 10.2% of South Koreans now own a Samsung Galaxy S II.
The smartphone is one of the most successful ever over there (naturally).
