Verizon is all done counting their cash and they’ve let us in on how they did in the fourth quarter of 2011. Highlights include wireless revenue totaling $18.3 billion, 19.2% more than what the did the same quarter a year ago. That added on to their first three quarters and they made $70.2 billion on the year, up just over 10% from 2010. They also added 1.5 million retail connections but the net total was 1 million, which is still very impressive. They now boast 108.7 million connections. Verizon noted a positive spike in data revenue, a testament to their 4G LTE focus and the increased smartphone adoption rates across the industry.
