Tank Hero is definitely an old-school favorite ’round these parts and today we learned that the developer Clapfoot Inc. has released the balls-to-the-wall sequel — Take Hero: Laser Wars — today on Google Play. Where the original focused more on its solid gameplay, I never could find myself getting into the visuals which were designed to look like toy tanks and environments, and less of a real nitty-gritty action shooter. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Clapfoot decided to go for a more serious approach this time around, with an entirely new gaming engine that looks as if it was inspired by Gears of War.
