HP's latest iteration of the “Folio” is an EliteBook, which means that this is a 14″Â laptop built for businesses. This is not as thin as the HP's Envy Spectre XT, but HP made it just thick enough (0.75″) to accommodate full-size ports that people actually need at work, like VGA, DisplayPort, Ethernet and three full size USB 3.0 ports. The EliteBook Folio 9470m has a dock port design that does not make the laptop thicker. Few people know but most “dockable” computers are thick because of the docking designs usually involve adding a sturdy connector.
