This past week we took Black Rapid RS-7 Curve out for a test on a 3-day trip to Death Valley. While we love how RS-7 fits the shoulder and makes carrying the camera around super easy, the design is fundamentally flawed and is a disaster waiting to happen. The sole purpose of the straps that come with DSLRs is to keep the camera secure in the field. Your camera is insecure the moment strap comes off, of the neck or the shoulder.
