Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the Nexus S now rolling out

A day or two later than expected, the update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the Samsung-made Google Nexus S has started rolling out a few hours ago. It looks like it's becoming available in Asia first. The update is a 114.4 MB affair, and after applying it you'll be on Android 4.1.1, build JRO03E. In case you're impatient, you can do two things. One, manually check for updates in Settings. Maybe that will trigger the notification.

Alternatively, you could download the update directly from Google and apply it manually if you know how to do that.
