Solid State Drives are slowly but surely catching on in popularity as the price point starts to drop, all the while seeing an increase in capacity. Plextor's latest addition to the SSD race would be the M5S Series Solid State Drive, where it is touted to deliver an enhanced and sustained read/write speed up to 73,000x70,000 IOPS. This would mean the M5S Series can perform faster compared to its award-winning predecessors in terms of overall enhanced performance. I suppose the inclusion of its exclusive firmware technology also goes some way in helping Plextor achieve such performance levels from the M5S Series Solid State Drive.
