The HTC Accord Windows Phone that we first showed you on Friday will be sold as the HTC 8X. Or rather, the Windows Phone 8X by HTC – that seems to be its officially official name. That's according to the device's manual that got leaked. And unless someone went to great lengths to forge a manual, this is real.
8X in a way fits right into HTC's newfound love for the letter X – let's just think about the One X and the Desire X. That said, those are two wildly different devices in terms of specs. And the HTC 8X has been rumored to be in the middle of HTC's upcoming WP lineup.
