It looks like HTC has pushed out a new over-the-air update for its HTC Desire HD, with a few users reporting a new OS upgrade appearing over the last day or so. The update takes the Desire HD up to software version 2.50.405.2 and claims to bring “Wi-fi performance improvements” to the big Android phone. It's a 19.8MB file and out there right now, floating around in the ether.
