The Smart Places Android app has been available in a public beta form for some time, winning many fans thanks to its super-simple integration of the Facebook Places location-based service. The app automates many of the service's features and takes the tedium out of documenting your travels between home, work and the coffee shop. As previously documented, we rarely go anywhere and when we do we don't like boasting about it on the internet, so we're yet to give this a try….
…but social people love the beta.
