If you have answered in the affirmative, then you would be pleased to know that the smartphone will be getting the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update very, very soon, with around a 1,000 owners already receiving invites to check out a beta version of the update. While the Atrix 4G was released on AT&T around a couple of months after Android 2.3 was available, said smartphone shipped with 2.2, and it was believed that development issues prevented the operating system from reaching phones until this summer.
