Penguin Books and Zappar Bring Augmented Reality Experience to Books

In collaboration between Penguin Books and Zappar, the duo has brought popular titles Moby Dick and Lady Audley's Secret to life through an Augmented Reality experience. The titles are added to Penguin Books' English Library with two more said to follow. The innovative book-reading experience which launches today includes interactive experiences such as animations of Coralie Bickford-Smith's illustrated covers, video, audio and extracts. The Managing Director for Zappar, Caspar Thykier said, "This is an exciting development in how the consumer reads and perceives the books, providing scope for extra bite size entertainment content.
