Google has announced that it has acquired the Silicon Valley-based startup Clever Sense, which is behind the popular mobile app “Alfred.” Using a combination of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, this application provides personalized recommendations for nearby dining venues, coffee shops, and bars. Terms of the deal remain undisclosed, but what is very sure is that the whole Clever Sense team will become part of Google's local services division.
