Canon has unveiled the EOS 60Da DSLR camera for astronomers. As a successor to the Canon 20da astronomy DSLR, the new camera features an 18-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor with a modified infrared filter and a low noise sensor, a 3-inch 1,040,00 dot LCD display, a Live View mode and an included AVC-DC400ST stereo AV video cable. The Canon EOS 60Da can be mounted to telescopes with an adapter. The Canon EOS 60Da will be released in the U.S. market later this month for $1,499.
